So this lady calls and says she cannot install her printer properly. After finding out the printer is INDEED a USB printer the following happens.

“ok, unplug the USB cord and replug it in, a message saying “new hardware found” should come up”

lady: Nope, nothing

“ok well, if it is USB it should give you some sort of message if it works or not”

Lady:Nothing came up…OH WAIT Do I need the power on for the installation?

“Yes.”

Lady: New Hardware Found, Windows XP Is Installing New Device…Apollo Printer installed properly, your new hardware is ready to use

“Why yes, yes it is”

Lady: Thank You!

...Now I ask you…is it so goddamn hard to check for power? do you try starting your car without a battery? NO! so why the hell would you plug in an electrical device and NOT turn it on!!!
