he‘s not doing well….I‘ve tried to help, he has no idea what else I can try to help him, no idea what else he can try to do. I think he‘s just not good in our environment PLUS doesn‘t have the knowledge he should — even if he gets better in the latter I don‘t see the former happening.

This economy sucks and I like this guy, but I may have to fire him. My manager is already appraised and he is worrying we may have to fire this guy too. :(
