0A Client called and said their wireless was not working properly. After a 30 minute drive, my supervisor found they had 9 (Dell) laptops lined up in a row. Laptop’s 1-5 worked beautifully, laptops 6, 7, and 8 did not, and 9 did. Our wireless access points were responding beautifully remotely (30 miles away), self tests prove nothing was wrong, yet the client insisted the problem was ours. My supervisor arrived and the appointment went as follows: Short, sweet, and to the point. It had to have been the hardware of their three laptops. We insisted this from the beginning, but they wanted us to make sure.
“Two Toshiba’s work with Intel Wireless cards. Not our problem.”
